Emergency Preparedness Week

Emergency Preparedness Week is a Canada-wide initiative aimed at raising awareness about individual and family preparedness. It emphasizes how the public can reduce the risks and consequences of emergencies by being better prepared.

Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. That’s why it’s important for everyone to be prepared—at the personal, community, provincial/territorial, and federal levels.

Emergency Management Ontario is coordinating Emergency Preparedness Week activities across the province in collaboration with government ministries, participating municipalities, the federal government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.
